RYCA’s Star Wars inspired Reservoir Troopers (red) sold out at artrepublic in astonishingly quick time, and in May 2006, thieves broke into artrepublic Brighton and stole this same piece, believing it to be a Banksy. The artist told us he was quite chuffed with the mistake. RYCA is part of London-based art team the Scrawl Collective and takes iconic images from our collective past and puts them into a new context.
