Snowstorm at Brighton (Giclee Limited Edition of 950) by Edward Bawden30cm x 40cm 11" x 15" 42cm x 59cm 16" x 23" Discover more about this printSnowstorm at Brighton is a giclee limited edition reproduction of a colour linocut produced by Edward Bawden in the 1950's. This print was innovative in its use of extensive over-printing of a lighter colour on a darker first print. This technique combined with the use of bold and angular cuts really brings the atmosphere of snow storm to life. Fishermen still fish off the piers and jetties of Brighton, but no longer dressed in sou'westers or duffle coats the details of which are so acutely observed here by Bawden.
