Dan’s work has a sinister yet beautiful feel - dealing with topics such as, politics, religion, and innocence. His works often involve a collage of elements including money, plastic toys and even being shot at. Dan has produced a large body of work, including ceramics, clothing, sculpture, books, printmaking, illustration and backdrops, although he is primarily a painter. 

Born in Manchester, Dan is now based in Brighton. He graduated in Illustration/communication media in 1995 from Maidstone School of Art, before this he was at Eastbourne College of Art. After Dan featured in an episode of BBC2's The Apprentice he was named by Sir Alan Sugar as one of the top 5 artists in the country.
